DESCRIPTION
The Farm, a holiday farm, stands in San Miniato urban district, located on the top of a hill from where you can tower over the surrounding hillocks and see San Miniato too, an old medieval town whose historical centre may be reached by car in only ten minutes.
The farm, about 45.000,00 sq,mt, winds around the main farm house formed by 3 wide apartments consisting in a living-room with kitchenette, 2 double bed-room and services.
The complex has been restored whit the utmost care and ceilings show wooden-beams and natural bricks so that guests can plunge into the atmosphere of an ancient tuscan rural tradition.
In the middle of the hall, converted by an old cowshed, there is a bis fireplace, where, in wintertime, the fire is always burning.
In this comfortable room,on demand, you can dinner all together round a long table full of dishes prepared promptly by the owners and taste the typical farm products like as the extra-virgin oil of olive, the red wine and the holy wine obtained directly from grapes dried up on mattings upto Cristmas time and then mellowed inside old wooden small barrels in a cellar.
The complex is surrounded by a pine forest where you can walk and rest in the fresh pine shade.
This area is also well known for its mushroom and for a very good March white truffle.
On the top of the hill, surrounded by olive trees and brooms of the green tuscan countryside, there is a big well-equipped swimming-pool for relaxing and pleasant moments.
The Farm borders, on the one side, upon the homonymous cross-race track and during the races you can see the unbelievable evolutions of the athletes riding their motorcycles.
On the other side, there is Santa Barbara Park with a lake well equipped for porting fishing where you can catch big size fresh water fish too.
