DESCRIPTION
Situated on a splendid 17,300 acre estate , with lush natural landscape and a forest of pine trees, Acquaviva Park Hotel rests on a 70 mts height hill, inside the national park of tuscan islands. It has a beautiful view of the Tyrrhenian sea, and offers its guests the possibility to enjoy an absolutely paeceful and relaxed vacation. APH is only four km away from the portoferraio historic city center, situeted next to the scenic road that leads to Enfola/Viticcio, just in front of the small gulf of Acquviva. The Hotel consists of a main bulding that includes, in addition of standard rooms, reception, bar and restaurant.
The restaurant boasts a gorgeous terrace with a panoramic view. All the hotel facilities have been renovated with great care. The new wing of the hotel faces the swimming pool, and it includes the superior room all with sea view from a private terraces. The hotel has a large private parking, a swimming pool and a children’s playground. It offers wood land paths with an exceptional view of Portoferraio’s Medici fortresses. APH provides a shuttle service that takes guest both to the neighbouring beaches and to the town center of the nearby Portoferraio. There are also deck chairs and beach umbrellas available on the nearby beach.
The hotel has 38 rooms subdivided between standard and superior.
The standard rooms are located in the central building of the hotel, where the primary hotel services, including the reception, the bar and restaurant are also found all these rooms have at their disposal private restroom with a shower, color tv with satellite broadcasting, telephone and some offer a private balcony featuring a sea view. The standard room are available as singles doubles, triples quadruples.
The superior rooms are located in the new wing of the hotel next to the lush forrest. All of these rooms face the pool and larger than the standard rooms. The rooms have at their disposal private restroom including a shower, color tv with satellite broadcasting, telephone, air conditionig and private terrace with sea view. Superior rooms are available exclusively as double and triples.
The Acquaviva Park Hotel restaurant offers typical tuscan cusine includinig a variety of disches. The fish disches and wine selection are worthy of special note. Guests may choose to sit fither inside in the newly renovated and air conditionated dining room or outside on the beautiful terrace with a sea view.
Known as the “Green Coast” for its lush vegetation and clear turquoise waters that sorround the region where the Hotel and its lovely beaches are situated is found in the National Park of Tuscan Island, and Portoferraio (the island ‘s major city) is just 4 km away.
The white pebble and sandy beaches can be reached whitin a few minuts from the hotel and they are certainly among the most beautiful of the island .
It is also possible to make use of the deck chairs and beach umbrellas on the neighbouring beaches including those of Enfola, Acquaviva, Sansone and Le Ghiaie.
